The enchanting beauty of tulips...

I fear I may have fallen into a trance photographing tulips as I wait for spring, for I can't seem to stop. Every day I seem to find a reason to pick up my camera and snap photos of the tulips I keep buying ~ a new angle, pretty light, a new bud that's opened. Tulips change so much more than other flowers; it's relaxing to take photo after photo because they're so enchanting as they open and bend toward the light. A vase full of tulips never looks the same two days in a row, which is irresistible to me. This bunch was particularly enjoyable to photograph; I even used one of the shots in my new blog header.
Alas, tulips don't last forever. I just bought two new bunches a couple of days ago. The camera seems to like them, too.

Thank you for putting a bright spot in a dreary day in Texas, The tulips are gorgeous. I wish they lasted longer.
I adore tulips, too. They just speak spring to me. Your photos are beautiful. Found you through Favorite Things Saturday.

Your tulips are beautiful! I know what it is to have your camera attracted to specific things. I can't resist flowers or the ocean! Definitely time for me to "spring up" my house - I think I need some tulips!

Such beautiful tulips, Eileen! And you captured them perfectly in your wonderful photographs. I love when they open wide and then 'swoon' over just before dying. Yours are just so lovely.

In case you missed it...
