Designing my own drapes...

As I've mentioned before, I've been busy the last few months redecorating my house. I decided early on that I wanted to use some of my own fabric designs in my home, including this Pink Floral Medley pattern. My mom, bless her, made the drapes for the living room from that fabric ~ they're fully lined and beautifully done and they just finish the room perfectly. My large living room now feels cozy and has a soft pink glow. The drapes also add a bit of drama to the room, which I love.
The fabric used to make the dining room drapes is one of my designs as well, a pattern called Sophisticated Pewter. They, too, turned out lovely, as you can see below. They balance the gray of the furniture on the opposite side of the room, which you can see here. The pattern shape sort of mimics the intricate wall stencil I did.
Both patterns will be available in fabric and wallpaper on Spoonflower when I get The Pink Home shop re-opened. What do you think?

Your drapes are lovely. Love the pink fabric, they certainly added so much to the room. I am also a pink gal. Happy Pink Saturday. Hugs, Lu
