Introducing The Pink Home magazine (and some other exciting news)...

I absolutely love sharing this: The Pink Home now has its own digital magazine via Flipboard. If you're not familiar with Flipboard, it's a free app (available for iPad, iPhone, Android, Kindle Fire and NOOK) that lets you browse content from the web magazine style. You can follow all sorts of established magazines in every category imaginable or, now, create your own magazines.
I started playing around with it and created the first Pink Home magazine from my content that's all over the web ~ click here for that. I'm thinking I'll create seasonal magazines under The Pink Home name as well. It's easy and fun, so who knows where it will lead. It's all free, so I hope you'll enjoy browsing through.
I have also been making some other changes here at The Pink Home ~ some big, some little. In the big category, I've decided to keep my Pink Home Etsy shop closed for the foreseeable future. I decided to go back to school at night to get my certification in interior design (yay!) and truthfully, I don't think I can do it all. So I decided to keep the shop closed for now and focus on things that would help further my interior design studies. My fabric and wallpaper designs are still available through Spoonflower and I'm continuing to add new ones, since that niche fits nicely into my new studies.

I am also making a few changes here on the blog. Since I really want to focus on creating and design here at The Pink Home, I've done some clean up on the blog, taking down things that didn't really fit. And, starting Friday, May 24, I'm going to be hosting a new link-up party here at The Pink Home called “Creative Weekends.” You'll be able to link up any type of creative posts ~ home decorating, craft projects, a new fabric design or knitting pattern, your latest creation from your shop, a creative triumph in the kitchen, tutorials, your latest garden masterpiece, etc. Anything that celebrates creativity will be welcome. More details to come over the next couple of weeks, so watch out for those.
Wishing all of you a lovely weekend...
