The beauty of an unexpected red rose...

We planted a bunch of climbing roses along our white picket fence earlier this year. Some of them were larger than others, so their growth rates have varied. This plant was among the smallest and I didn’t really think it would do much of anything this year but it did recently bloom ~ a glorious burgundy red rose. Isn’t it beautiful?
