Inspiration anticipation...

Home decorating books are a weakness of mine. I saw news today about a new one that thrilled me, so I thought I'd share. Rachel Ashwell of Shabby Chic fame has a new book coming out! I follow her Facebook feed and they shared the above photo of the cover. Doesn't it look sumptuous? It's due out in October. I can hardly wait.
Do you have any favorite home decorating books or designers you absolutely love?

Hi Eileen! I of course love all of Rachel's books, but I also like Paula Deen's Savannah Style and Claudia Strasser's The Paris Apartment.

It really does look beautiful. As to favorite designers...not these days. I've finally settled into mid century modern design and It would be hard to move me from its simplicity. I love my Eames chair and won't part with it. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
