Dogs and bunnies...

For those of you who are new to my blogs, this adorable little creature is my Shih Tzu, Emily Elizabeth. (Please forgive the not-so-great-quality photo.) She's always into things and pretty much thinks any stuffed animal within a 5-mile radius was meant for her. The pink Easter bunnies behind her, which were mine, tormented her a couple years ago ~ so cute, so fluffy, and just out of reach. She would stand with her front paws on the edge of the guest bed, looking at them, trying to jump up. I felt sorry for her one day and let her sit on the bed while I worked at my desk. It wasn't long before the bunnies ceased to be mine and became her favorite toys. She still keeps one of them stashed in our bedroom closet and every once in a while, goes in there to retrieve it to play. What can I say ~ you can only hold out against that face for so long.
