Perhaps the best thing about spring is the emergence of all the flowers from their winter slumber. These delicate lavender blooms (I believe they are a type of lily) have just awoken. I love how they look as the evening light starts to fade.

I'm excited because in spite of the cool and late snow storms, I've got tiny crocuses not only pushing little green buds out, but they ARE blooming already!

We've been in blooming season for many weeks now, and, as is usual, it just keeps on getting prettier and prettier. The flowering trees have already done their thing and are green now. My roses are blooming like crazy.
